Bisola Orimalade, is the Velocity Business Adviser for Luton and South Bedfordshire, bringing extensive experience across business advisory, mentoring and marketing.

She is a SFEDI accredited business adviser with over 8 years’ experience in various government backed schemes such as New Deal, Regional Growth Fund (RGF), European Regional Growth Fund (ERDF), Business Enterprise in the Community (BEC), Women and Broadband (WAB) and the last 3 years on the New Enterprise Allowance (NEA) based at Bedford.

Bisola brings her passion and experience from her own marketing business, which has seen her work with a range of businesses from pre-starts and SMEs growing their businesses, so is perfectly placed to support organisations across the region from Velocity.

Areas of specialism;

  1. Business Advice & Mentoring – Having worked with a range of pre-start-up and growing businesses; via one to one business mentoring and group work.
  2. Marketing – Having run her own business in digital marketing, Bisola has extensive experience in supporting clients in private and public sector, delivering digital marketing, business development, management and training
  3. Project Management – From running her own company, as well as experience in the business mentoring roles, she brings welcomed people and operational skills which she hopes to use to develop the local area and businesses that sit within it.

I don’t tend to throw dinner parties, But if I did, easy food that I can cook in no time

Best piece of advice you're ever recieved?

Be yourself everyone else is taken

What tip would you give to someone starting out in business?

Know and understand your WHY, research your target audience/market and always be consistent
